As a part of a project “ Skłodowska in Wyszków as a leader of European mobility of students and teachers”, twelve vocational subjects teachers from Zespół Szkół Nr 1 im Maria Skłodowska- Curie in Wyszkó1)w went abroad for further training to Barcelona in Spain. The partner organization of foreign training is the company “Espamob”. Vocational education teachers, mainly from gastronomy, digital graphic processes, hotel industry and tourism ,are involved in the project as well as vocational English teachers. Further training will take place from the 6^th to the 10^th of November 2017.

It is the job- shadowing type of training. The teacher – the trainee accompanies the leading employee for the whole working day like a shadow. Through such activities, teachers will learn and gain experience in the profession.

Teachers from Skłodowska will develop their professional skills in reputable Spanish institutions like restaurants, such as Lazare, Can Cortada, Can Travi, hotels such as Hotel Monument, Hotel Condes de Barcelona, ​​printing companies, for instance, The Bramona Company.  With such professional training teachers will learn new methods and forms of work, which will positively affect their professional development. In future it will also have impact on higher quality of school work, as an institution organizing vocational training. The contact with Spanish educational solutions in the range of vocational education will also be a source of inspiration and interesting ideas for further actions for teachers. The language of communication during Spanish mobility is English, what will affect the increase of  language skills.

The participants of the project received a lot of support from the sending organization, Zespół Szkół Nr1 im Maria Skłodowska- Curie. They had the opportunity to take part in the English language classes, received English-Polish and Polish-English dictionaries, Polish-Spanish conversations, Polish-English vocational dictionaries elaborated at school, and pocket money for expenses related to foreign mobility.

The proper course of the project is supervised by the Head Teacher  Mr. Marian Popławski. The coordinator of the project is the Deputy Head Mrs. Elżbieta Mańko, who is in constant contact with the foreign partners, is responsible for the proper circulation of documents and helps the beneficiaries of the project. Management of the trip was entrusted to Mrs. Bogusława Pawelska- Kozon, who is the leader of the school project team.

Spanish mobility participants will, apart from further training, take part in the cultural program. The cultural program includes learning basic Spanish vocabulary, touring Barcelona's most important sights, such as Sargada Familia, La Rambla, Guell Park and, above all, learning Catalan customs. Spanish mobility will certainly provide unique experience in the professional, linguistic and personal realm. Adios - goodbye.
